My wife, Dora, and I have been in the Czech Republic since 1997. Partnering with the Církev bratrská denomination (Brethren Evangelical Free Church), we have been involved in church planting and leadership development. We are now focusing these efforts on the Roma (Gypsy) people group. As we look for ways to minister holistically to this marginalized, oppressed, and largely unreached people group, we seek to empower Christian Roma leaders to do the ministry God has called them to do.
As a contact person for the Refugee Highway Partnership in Europe, we seek to network and resource those working with refugees in Europe. Since the Roma and the Refugee are at high risk to be caught in human trafficking, we are involved in creating awareness and praying for the plight of those who are trafficked. Prague is a major center for human trafficking.
